PLASTER WORK IN BUILDING


Plaster work manly perform for finishing of constriction surface area mostly adopted plaster work in building work. In plaster work used cement and send mortar. In building poster work performing in two layer. Plaster work dividing in two part.



  1.   INTERNAL PLASTERING

INTERNAL PLASTERING:-

            Internal plastering is done inside in building area. Inside plaster most quality is too much finished compare to outside. Internal plaster work cement quantity is more compare to external plastering. Late be discuss procedure of internal plastering.

Internal plastering procedure –

  1.  Clean all the wall surface and ceilings by using brush and different type instrument where the plaster work has to be done.
  2.  After then spray the water of the entire surface where done the plaster work.
  3. Do the pointing work by use plumb-bob.
  4. After then make a mixture, use 1:6 cement and sand mortar for wall.
  5.  Done the plaster work in wall 12 mm thick.
  6. Level a plaster work by use a leveling instrument.
  7. Ceilings plaster work done by a same way.
  8. Make mixture use 1:4 cement and sand mortar foe ceilings.
  9.  Do the pointing work by using plumb-bob.
  10. Point height is 6 mm thick.
  11. According to pointing done the plaster work 6 mm thick everywhere in ceilings same level.
  12.  Finishing layer completed by the leveling instrument.

 Use Chicken Mesh in Internal Plaster on Brick Wall and Concrete

  1. Chicken mesh uses improving joints of brick wall & structural concrete.
  2. Chicken mesh a 200 mm wide chicken mesh will be fixed at the joint.
  3. Chicken mesh fixed at the joint by use cement and sand mortar.
  4. Chicken mesh neglects the extension property.




External plaster

External plaster work performing in outside of building wall and also beam and Colum. Its performing in tow layers  1st layers known  as rough layers and 2nd layer known as  finishing layers.  

Procedure of a external plaster work:

  1.  External plaster work finished in tow layer.
  2.  Cleaning the entire external wall surface.
  3.  Spray the water of all the surface of wall for muster.
  4. For 1st layer plaster work make a mixture by use 1:6 cement and sand mortar.
  5.  Make a point by using a plumb-bob.
  6.  Point size 12 mm thick.
  7. According to a point size done the all plaster work.
  8.  1st layer is called a rough layer.
  9.  After 1st layering done the 2nd layer.
  10. Festaly spray the water all the 1st layer surface.
  11. Make a point by using a plumb-bob and the point size is a 2nd layer 6 mm thick.According to point make all the plaster same size and same level.
